Planes and Weddings

Wondering were I've been lately? Well, let me give you the full scoop as to why I've been AWOL lately.......

First off, my day job is working in the aerospace industry and I was one of the lucky people who was volunteered to be put on an appraisal team for our recent appraisal--yay me. So on top of my regular job, I was busy preparing for the appraisal. To add to all this, it is wedding season and I assist in photographing weddings with my husband. I absolutely love working with my husband and getting to know the couples we are photographing. We really love being a part of their big day and being able to provide them with lasting memories through our work. Last weekend we had the pleasure of photographing a wedding in the Bahamas at the luxurious One and Only Resort and will be traveling to Richmond, Virginia this weekend for another wedding.

So, in short, I've been busy and I haven't had much time to spending baking and what I did bake didn't seem to turn out so well. For example, I made some Skittle cookies last night. Not good. And I made some peach muffins that tasted....not good. I did have a few successful recipes and hope to post those soon.
